Brian Q. Pham is a Partner at InterPrivate. Brian has been an investor, advisor, and builder of technology companies throughout his career. Brian has been an independent investor and C-level advisor to technology companies since 2017. From 2013 to 2016, Brian was a Principal at Sherpa Capital, a San Francisco based venture capital firm. Brian was on the founding team, was the first investor to join the founders and helped build the organization from the ground to approximately $800 million in assets under management. Select investments led or co-led by Brian include Pillpack, Slack, Uber, Airbnb, Curology and Opendoor. From 2011 to 2013, Brian was a member of the Morgan Stanley technology investment banking team based in Menlo Park. There he focused on the equity markets for high growth technology companies and helped clients raise $22.0 billion through initial public offerings, follow-on equity offerings, and convertible debt offerings. A few representative transactions that his team led include: IPOs for Facebook, Workday, and ServiceNow. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Brian was a biotech entrepreneur and helped lead efforts to build companies based off of IP developed at the UCLA Department of Bioengineering. Brian received a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of California Los Angeles.
